Dubai, UAE and Copenhagen, Denmark, 161121 – GET Group and Terma A/S have entered a strategic partnership to promote Terma´s acclaimed intelligent wide area protection system, the T.react CIP, across the continent of Africa and Egypt. GET Group will be the official sole provider of the T.react CIP in Egypt and rest of Africa.

Matching GET Group’s long experience in the fields of physical security and systems integration with Terma’s 60 years of radar manufacturing experience, and 35 years’ involvement in delivering mission-critical military command and control systems, both companies look forward to help securing critical infrastructure and strategic assets in Africa, such as airports, seaports, oil and gas installations, border protection, VIP protection and other infrastructure projects deemed of national importance.
By the end of 2016, customers and partners in the Region will be able to view live demonstrations of the T.react CIP system in Egypt. The system will include not only the command & control (C2) platform – Termas T.react CIP – but also multiple Terma radars and other third-party sensors including cameras in a fully functional setup, demonstrating true data fusion functionality with an unprecedented simplicity and accuracy.
Both companies have been involved in the protection of the Suez Canal waterway (Terma SCANTER radars with GET Group as the main contractor) and have as part of this success now decided to join forces in the region.
